Highlight of activities and involvement

Inspired by the ideals and philosophy of Saint Mary Euphrasia and Saint John Eudes, the members of the academic community; the faculty and staff, and the students together with our parents and alumni have joined efforts towards the attainment of the school’s vision-mission. For many years, the high school community has actively involved and participated in various outreach programs:

- The Seniors have been providing catechism to a number of public elementary schools of the city.
- Seniors who belong to the Facilitators’ Group give recollection to the grade VI pupils of our catechists and the first year high school of Batangas National High School and our own students.
- Another group of Seniors known as the Sinag broadcasters managed a one-hour radio program with DWAM every Sunday at 10:00-11:00 AM. Although, this is temporarily cut off due to the station’s economic status. With this, they manage to continue this program inside the campus.
- The Juniors give tutorial classes in English and Math to the pupils of Libjo Annex Elementary School.
- The school has adopted Sitio Callejon in Barangay Libjo, a nearby community as its outreach venue. It is in its five years of service to this community. Women and mothers of this adopted barangay are given formation and education sessions, and other related activities that would affirm their dignity and worth.
- The teachers and students have also generously shared their time and talents especially in the cultural and political programs and activities of the city.

These concrete ways of responding to the needs of the community truly manifest an integration of values and a reflection of the Good Shepherd spirit.
