WHAT WE DO

As an academic support service, the acquisitions of the school Multi-media Instructional Center are reflections of the instructional commitment to enhance curriculum development. The Multi-Media Instructional Center is the ultimate resource center for academic requirements and advancement in technology. It is in this dynamic room that students experience their knowledge expanding and their know-how increasing. It fuels the inherit thirst of learners for additional information gearing towards academic excellence.

Since 2001, the library expanded its program as well as its vicinity by transforming the third floor of SME building into several sections of our library.

The Main Library contains the General collection section that shelved the wide variety and most number of books of the library collection, the Filipiniana section that housed significant books authored by Filipinos and foreign writers about the Philippines. It also includes the Periodical sections that contain a number of different broad sheets, magazines and pamphlets.

The General Reference Room contains most of the latest edition of several encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, almanacs and yearbooks. This section provides students and faculty a vast information of the world outside their schools and homes.

The Faculty Section is an air-conditioned room that serve the school highly qualified and professional teachers. This room contains professional books, reference books, newspapers and magazines. A television with its VHS and CD player attached for teachers’ used.

Conference Room is an air-conditioned room provided for the needs of faculty and students in conducting small group meeting or conferences.

The Archives Section serves as the showcases of the history of the school, important personalities, awards and achievements of the school for the past years. It also contains significant historical events in national and local scene.

The MMIC serves not only the Saint Bridget High School academic community but also welcomes the alumni and students from other schools who seek more and relevant information that our Multi-Media Instructional Center can offer.
