The Saint Bridget Community Center (SBCC) was initially established in 1972 as venue for the community outreach programs of Saint Bridget College and the training of BSSW students in the Field of Instruction. It became an affiliate project of the Christian Children’s Fund (CCF) for 17 years. Beneficiaries were prepared toward self-reliance and self-management. They were registered as Buklod Unlad Inc. (BUBI)

As SBCC Continues to implement community based services, a new clientele emerged, the street children and women of Batangas City’s Barangay Wawa, Cuta and Malitam. Working with these Barangays enriched the School Communities appreciation of the less privilege persons of our city.
